[Tracks] El Perro Del Mar - Change of Heart

El Perro Del Mar - which of course is Spanish for The Perro Del Mar - is the solo project of Swedish songstress Sarah Assbring. I haven't had much time to get into her latest release, Love Is Not Pop, but the song "Change of Heart" immediately jumped out to me. Like fellow Gothenburg natives, Air France, El Perro has a knack for making wistfully beautiful songs that sort of lull you into a more vulnerable world, where love rules supreme. See, it just happened right there. On the surface, Sarah reminds me a bit of Lykke Li, but where Lykke is writing Youth Novels, El Perro Del Mar is authoring a work for the grown-up. An age where there is more at stake and the hurt stings a little longer.
