I was under the impression that the new Phoenix album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix was coming out later this month, but its up now on Itunes for those of you who were patient enough to ignore the leak or who just want a better quality version. Either way it is definitely worth the money. Quite possibly the perfect pop record, every song bursts with energy and demands your attention - played in any scenario you will inevitably have people asking "who is this?" And trust me, you want to be that guy who can dole out condescending music advice to your friends....

Speaking of perfect pop records, the new Grizzly Bear website is now fully functioning and is a million times better than their last. Looks like someone is preparing for full on super stardom, and deservedly so! Now that I finally have Internets at home here is the Fred Falke mix that I mentioned earlier, one of my favorite remixes of the year so far.
