Born n' raised in the county of Dade

Unlike Sam, I do not believe that everything cool comes from Brooklyn. In reality everything cool these days comes from Miami. For example, Rick Ross and... Rick Ross. Okay, so Miami isn't really that cool, but we can assume that it has had some positive influence on Australian dj/remixer Miami Horror. He has an awesome remix of fellow aussies, The Presets' song, Talk Like That kicking around right the internet right now. I had the good fortune of seeing the Presets open for Cut Copy this fall and they blew me away. The remix adds a little more bang to the original track (which is always good) and sounds really cool against lead singer, Julian Hamilton's resounding voice. Check it here

As a bonus, here is a track that I was mildly obsessed with for awhile that also shares a really loose connection with Miami. The original song was absolute crap, but Diplo works some serious magic (aka cuts john legend out of the song completely). Enjoy.
